Comparative Analysis On Inclusive Education In Malaysia: Lessons Learned From Other Countries

This study examines Malaysia’s progress, challenges, and readiness in implementing inclusive education for students with special educational needs (SEN), drawing lessons from developed countries (Finland and Australia) and developing nations (China and Egypt). Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), the analysis highlights Malaysia’s policy commitment through initiatives such as the Persons with Disabilities Act 2008, Education (Special Education) Regulations 2013, and the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013–2025.
