Role of Leadership in the Development of the Ummah: Sarawak’s Successful Stories

Yesterday, we held a webinar to explore the crucial role of leadership in the development of the Ummah, using Baitulmal Sarawak’s success stories as a case study. It highlights how effective leadership in managing zakat (charitable funds) and other Islamic financial resources has contributed to community empowerment, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development in Sarawak.

The session was delivered by Ybhg Datu Hj. Abang Mohamad Shibli bin Abang Mohamad Nailie, Pengurus Besar Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) on the topic ‘Role of Leadership in the Development of the Ummah: Sarawak’s Successful Stories’ with us yesterday.

By examining the strategies and initiatives taken by Baitulmal Sarawak, the session emphasizes how strong, visionary leadership can drive positive social and economic change within the Muslim community, fostering resilience and long-term prosperity.
